Autumn Equinox Tea Ceremony

  • Lincoln Park 8011 Fauntleroy Way Southwest Seattle, WA, 98136 United States (map)

Honor the transition from Summer to Fall with a Fall Equinox Cha Dao ceremony hosted by Linh.

We’ll explore the essence of this season through an array of practices including:

  • Forest bathing. Unplug from technology and embody the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku. Relieve stress and anxiety through the practice of soaking up the healing energy of nature.

  • Gentle movement. We will move through a series of several postures to prepare our bodies for sitting in meditation for tea.

  • Fall Equinox intention setting and ritual. We will evaluate our intentions from Spring to Summer, releasing what no longer serves us as we move into the element of metal and Autumn.

  • Cha dao tea ceremony. Steep in the magic and ritual of medicinal tea, as we sit in community and practice mindfulness. Tea is chosen to match energy of the season.

  • Community sharing & journaling. We’ll close with time for journaling and reflection and community sharing.
